FlyÀger is run by Nicky Moss. Nicky & Jordi live in Àger and fly locally all spring, summer and autumn and then travel to other parts of the world in winter. Together, they have more years, local airtime and experience in the Àger area than other operator.
Jordi is a qualified paragliding and paramotor instructor and has extensive experience of running SIV courses and as a commercial tandem pilot. He has been flying for over 30 years and knows the area and all manner of things that fly better than most!
Nicky is a former British Paragliding team member, a British record holder and former Spanish female champion. After many years of travelling and competing she settled in her favourite valley and Àger became home.
Nicky is widely known for her competition organisation skills and for ‘meet directing’ many of the most prestigous paragliding events worldwide. These include the Paragliding World Cup and World Cup Superfinal (PWC). In January 2015 she was Meet Director of the successful 14th FAI World Paragliding Championship in Colombia. Jordi was an official Air Marshall for the event, controlling safety in the air and assisting in the safe setting of tasks. Nicky worked for the CIVL (FAI) compiling the world rankings and advising competition organisers and pilots on the rules, regulations and organisation of FAI recognised events. She worked for the FAI team organising the World Air Games in Dubai, UAE and was a founder member of the Asian Continental Paragliding Association (ACPA), a pilot organisation promoting cross-country competition in the Asian continent.
Between them they speak Catalan, English, French and Spanish.
